
Corporate Support Professional

This critical administrative support role is essential to our team's efficiency. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will provide valuable assistance to managers, employees, and office visitors by handling a variety of tasks, ensuring all interactions are positive and welcoming.
- Coordinate electronic calendars, arrange meetings and travel accommodations
- Manage office equipment and technology, as well as provide support and troubleshooting for staff as needed
- Prepare agendas and take accurate minutes/notes
- Prepare confidential correspondence across various programs
- Review, sort and distribute mail
- Respond to inquiries from the public, agencies, and departments for multiple program areas
- Maintain accurate data and prepare statistics and reports
You have a one-year business course and a minimum of three years of secretarial/administrative support experience. You are a collaborative team player with proficient skills in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent.
You must be proficient in using office equipment and technology (printers, laptops, laptop accessories, monitors etc.). Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work is essential. You must use judgment when handling telephone inquiries due to confidential matters. Ideally, you can multitask and are a self-starter who is highly motivated and results-driven, with integrity and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Working ConditionsYour normal work week is 35 hours/week, 7 hours/day. Most of your time is spent in a comfortable office setting. You may occasionally need to move/lift light objects such as office supplies, equipment, and files. You will have daily contact with the public, various Government Departments as well as other local Agencies and Institutions.
