Job Title: Senior Project Officer - Identified First Nations
The role of Senior Project Officer - Identified First Nations is to manage the development and implementation of the Community and Economic Participation Framework, supporting policy and program outcomes. This position involves improving coordination of government services and developing solutions to local and regional issues for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the development and implementation of the Community and Economic Participation Framework;
- Improve coordination of government services;
- Develop solutions to local and regional issues for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples;
- Criminal history check;
- Serious discipline history check;
- An Open class 'C' drivers licence;
- Current Blue Card;
- Travel - Regular travel to communities in Normanton, Burke Town and Bidunggu;
- References: All applicants must nominate a cultural referee.
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander identity;
- Relevant qualifications and experience;
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
