Making a positive impact on someone's life requires a compassionate individual. As a Care Worker, you will assist older community members in maintaining their independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide essential home support services including household chores, cleaning, meal preparation, and grocery shopping assistance
- Offer personal care services such as assisting clients with daily routines, administering medications, and providing complex care for individuals with high needs
- Provide social support, transportation to activities or appointments, and help family caregivers achieve a break
- Certification III in Aged Care or Individual Support is required along with at least 6 months of experience in a similar role, possessing skills in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medication management
- Australian Driver's Licence and a registered, roadworthy vehicle are also necessary
