About the Role:

The Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is seeking a highly skilled Material Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Material Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of permanent supplies and materials used in our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance of all relevant permanent supplies and accompanying documentation.
  • Coordinate with procurement department for the delivery and inspection of all types of permanent supplies.
  • Draft of Non-Conformances immediately following their identification.
  • Undertake testing and inspections of permanent supplies in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Assess Quality Records to ensure compliance and ensure records are updated in the electronic and hard files in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions proposed in the Non-Conformances.
  • Communicate and resolve any permanent supplies quality issues proactively with relevant procurement representative and FGJV Material Manager.
  • Any other duties as directed by the Permanent Material Quality Coordinator.
  • Comply with FGJV policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
  • Complete required tasks in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications or related discipline such as, Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • White Card
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred
  • Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works
  • Experience in Microsoft office suite and any EMDS.
