Our organisation is seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the development, implementation and maintenance of robust personnel security processes, policies and risk management frameworks.

This pivotal role requires exceptional leadership skills to drive the integration of personnel security into broader business onboarding and offboarding processes, with a focus on aligning our practices with the Australian Government's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, manage and maintain effective personnel security processes and integration into broader business onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Develop, manage and maintain personnel security policies and requirements
  • Lead and execute personnel security governance activities including overseas travel management (briefings, policy management, risk management), personnel security risk assessments and international secondment risk management
  • Document and maintain personnel security processes; implement central records management, reporting, and tracking for activities

To be successful in this challenging role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in managing the outcomes of the PSPF and developing and implementing security policies and processes.

You will also need to have a strong background in security governance activities, risk assessment and management, and proficiency in risk management tools and software.

In addition, you must be an Australian citizen with eligibility to gain a Baseline Security clearance through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
