Customer Care Representative

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Care Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide unparalleled service to customers, working closely with internal departments to accelerate the customer experience.
  • Process orders accurately and drive customers towards our digital platform for faster access to information.
  • Record all activity within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Prepare Return Authorisation and credits for processing, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
  • Proactively communicate key opportunities, sensitivities, or issues internally, forwarding leads to sales for qualification.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and employees, partnering for outstanding results.
  • Think critically and use initiative to find solutions, ensuring compliance with processes around regulated activities.
  • Follow our quality systems ISO 9001 and operating procedures, maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Identify and define problem areas for improvement, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Follow OHS policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dedicated customer service role or customer-facing position.
  • Excellent digital literacy, with the ability to learn new concepts and packages as needed.
  • Ability to remain professional and composed in complex situations.
  • Strong results focus and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and problem-solve effectively.
  • Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks optimally.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
  • Intermediate level competence in Microsoft Office Suite applications, Excel, Work, and Outlook.
  • University degree (preferred Science or business) and/or related experience would be an asset.
