About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team in Wagga Wagga, responsible for overseeing daily operations of the fleet. You will ensure timely scheduling and allocation, maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders, customers, and drivers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of a team of drivers to guarantee daily fleet operations run smoothly.
  • Maintenance of strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and drivers.
  • Effective communication with drivers and customers regarding planning, runs, and delays.
  • Proactive assessment of operations to enhance efficiency and recognize opportunities for improvement.
  • Management and monitoring of payroll, driver performance, leave entitlements, and truck servicing.
  • Load planning and optimization through solid analytical skills and ability to systemically plan resources.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Prior experience in a similar Fleet Controller or Allocator role within the Transport and Logistics industry.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S, CoR & NHVR legislation.
  • SAP, MT DATA, WMS & TMS knowledge is desirable.
  • Prior finance and cost management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with good change management experience.
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
