**Junior Medical Officer Role Overview:**

We are seeking suitably qualified junior doctors to join our Junior Medical Officer program.

The Junior Medical Officer program is designed for junior doctors who have successfully completed their intern year and are looking to gain further experience in clinical areas such as surgery, intensive care, rehabilitation, and general medicine.

About the Hospital:

Our hospital is a private not-for-profit health service comprising 122 beds providing a diverse range of acute and sub-acute medical and surgical services to a large population.

Key Features of the Role:*

  • Four term rotations including Anaesthetics/Pain Management, Critical Care/ICU, General Surgery/Urology, and Rehabilitation
  • A focus on Critical Care/ICU and general ward work for PGY 3s and 4s
  • Individualised supervision by senior specialist consultants
  • Research and study initiatives encouraged and supported

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Police and Working with Children Check
  • Evidence of current Visa approval to work in Australia
  • Demonstrated successful completion of PGY1 in Australia
  • Demonstrated high-quality clinical practice
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical experience
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills
