Senior Judicial Officer

The Judicial Registrar is responsible for managing court proceedings, presiding over cases, and contributing to the development of legal policies within the courts.
- This role involves high-level judicial functions, including conducting dispute resolution, duty lists, and case management.
- Candidates must possess excellent organisational skills and be able to manage a range of tasks simultaneously.
- The Judicial Registrar will also play a key part in assisting with the formulation of legal policy within the courts, supporting various Court Committees, and implementing policies nationally.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders is essential in this role.
- Delivering court reform initiatives and driving forward the courts' reform agenda are also key responsibilities.
Candidates must have legal qualifications and admission as a practitioner of the High Court and/or the Supreme Court of a State or Territory of Australia. A minimum of 5 years' post-admission experience is required.
- Candidates should have considerable experience in family law, including parenting and financial matters.
