Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Dandenong area. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a caseload and providing evidence-based therapeutic supports in a timely manner
- Assessing clients' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
- Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
- Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Possess a positive, can-do approach and mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and their support networks to make a real and lasting difference
- Strive for continuous improvement of our practices and outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent and regular contact with all stakeholders
- Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
Qualifications
You will need to be a degree qualified Occupational Therapist with current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
