Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Star HR. As an Occupational Therapist - Paediatric Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy services to children and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and implement effective intervention plans to support children's development and independence.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to children, focusing on occupational therapy best practices and a holistic approach.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Learning and Development Managers, to ensure seamless care coordination and support.
- Prescribe and provide equipment and assistive technologies to enhance children's functional independence.
- Develop and implement capacity building programs to improve children's skills and abilities.
- Maintain accurate case management notes and reporting to ensure high-quality care and service delivery.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy (with AHPRA registration).
- Experience in paediatric occupational therapy, with a strong understanding of child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- High-level reporting skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
- Driver's license and a car, with the ability to travel to various locations.
- Willingness to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children check, and Police Check.
