The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead the performance and operations of multiple retail stores across NSW, including Western Sydney, South Coast, Regional NSW, and ACT. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence across the area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Profitability: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed area sales targets, identify trends and opportunities for growth and improvement, and work closely with Store Managers to optimise sales and profitability.
  • Financial Management: Manage the area budget, ensuring financial goals are met, analyse financial reports, and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Operations: Oversee inventory management, implement and monitor compliance with company policies and procedures, and ensure all stores comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Team Management and Development: Recruit, train, and develop Store Managers to build a high-performing team, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a consistent and superior customer experience across all stores, address customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively, and review customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service.
  • Services Management: Oversee the provision of additional services, including car seat installation, personalised appointments, product hire, and cleaning, and ensure key performance metrics are achieved.
About You

We are looking for a natural-born leader with a passion for the baby goods industry, a minimum of 5 years' experience in retail management, and a strong understanding of retail operations. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be proficient in managing and resolving conflicts, and have a strong financial acumen.
