About the Role

Mirvac is seeking an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to join our Construction team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume accountability for delivering sub-contractual trade requirements, ensuring subcontractors complete their works within time, cost, and quality obligations.
  • Liaise with Site and Project Engineers to issue site instructions and provide cost forecasting advice to the Project Administrator.
  • Ensure familiarity with Subcontract agreements and review all documentation issued to subcontractors to limit variations from design changes or clarifications.
  • Maintain construction records in Daily Diaries to provide evidence for subcontractor claims and assist with administration, including progress claims, forecasts, and variation management.
  • Ensure progress on-site is in accordance with programs, meeting milestones and ensuring resources, plant, and equipment are adequate to achieve construction program milestones.
  • Control and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring a clear and clean work area and avoiding clashes that may affect productivity outcomes.
  • Examine documentation for completeness and constructability, identifying and correcting hindrances to future activities, and liaising with subcontractors, consultants, and statutory authorities as required.
  • Manage the Defect Inspection Process for service trades, guaranteeing Mirvac's quality standards.
  • Comply with the Mirvac HSE Management System, HSE policies, and procedures relevant to your work area.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience on large-scale commercial projects.
  • Experience in working in a collaborative delivery team.
  • Recent experience as a site supervisor on multi-story residential and commercial projects.
  • Confidence in communicating with Senior Management and subcontractors.
  • Ability to write a short-term construction program.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of structures.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to identify problems early and find solutions.
