Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Training Scheduler Lead to join our team at RAAF Base Edinburgh. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and coordinating all training activities for the P-8A Poseidon.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your skills in resource and asset scheduling and coordination, as well as your experience working in Defence operational flying squadrons or similar environments.

About the Role

  • Schedule and coordinate tasks related to Fight Crew, Mission Crew, and Maintenance training.
  • Support the delivery of the training continuum, including synthetic training device bookings.
  • Program planned simulation device upgrades and asset allocation to meet training schedules.
  • Conduct system health and utilization analysis, and generate reports to support performance measurement.

Requirements

  • Experience in resource and asset scheduling and coordination.
  • Experience working in Defence operational flying squadrons or similar environments, including the use of flight programming tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Configuration and data management experience.
  • An understanding of Defence Training requirements.
