Job Description
As a technical advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of mechanical service and maintenance work carried out on OEM equipment during planned shut-down periods. This includes inspections, testing, and analysis to ensure the proficiency of the equipment.

This role requires excellent planning skills, as well as the ability to read technical drawings and schematics. You will need to use your technical trade skills to understand and learn new skills, and lead local Australian and international personnel in various locations.

Key Requirements
  • Mechanical fitter or machinist background with experience in fixed plant mining equipment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and customer service orientation.
  • Technical advisory experience with OEM equipment.
  • Significant hard rock experience desirable.
  • Supervisory experience, including the ability to build and develop relationships with a range of people.
  • Customer interface and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a small dedicated team.
  • Extensive travel required, including internationally at times.
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
