Job Role Summary

The Technical Advisor is responsible for overseeing the coordination of mechanical service and maintenance work for clients on OEM equipment during planned shut-down periods, project equipment mechanical commissioning.

This includes inspections, testing and analysis on the proficiency of the equipment, planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs. The ability to read technical drawings and schematics is key to this position.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Coordinating mechanical service and maintenance work for clients with precision and accuracy.
  • Inspecting, testing and analyzing equipment proficiency to ensure optimal performance.
  • Planning and performing maintenance and repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reading technical drawings and schematics to understand equipment specifications.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Mechanical Fitter / Machinist or similar trade background with relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and customer service orientation.
  • Technical advisory experience with OEM equipment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Supervisory experience and ability to lead local and international personnel effectively.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to build relationships with customers.
