
Expert Procurement Specialist

As a procurement and contracts specialist, your primary responsibilities will include providing expert advice and guidance to business stakeholders on purchasing processes and documentation preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Offer in-depth analysis of options to support sourcing and recommendation of reliable providers.
- Ensure compliance with existing procurement policies, standards, and procedures by promoting adherence and monitoring progress.
- Coordinate the issuance of RFPs and tenders to market and administer a range of procurement agreements and contracts.
- Liaise with key suppliers to improve value delivered to the organization by building pro-active and transparent relationships.
- Develop and implement strategies for resolution of issues or disputes with support from line management.
- Manage and ensure relevant procurement activities comply with internal approval and governance processes.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment as a purchasing officer, contracts administrator, or in a procurement background is essential.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy is required to ensure seamless operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Proficiency in SAP is highly desirable but not essential, as we welcome candidates with other software expertise.
- Background in oil and gas / mining is ideal but not compulsory.
