Risk and Assurance Specialists play a critical role in the development, implementation, and continual improvement of integrated Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management systems. As subject matter experts, they drive compliance through internal audits and contribute to risk management initiatives, ensuring alignment with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver clear and actionable reports from audits and due diligence activities
- Maintain certified HSEQ systems across all subsidiaries
- Monitor and update compliance frameworks in line with legislative changes
- Validate and maintain risk profiles within HSEQ systems
- Document initiatives that improve operational performance and efficiency
- Tertiary or vocational qualifications in Health, Safety, Environment, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years' experience in HSEQ roles, with a strong focus on auditing and compliance
- Certified Lead Auditor in HSEQ Management Systems
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Experience engaging with regulators and external audit providers
- Familiarity with enterprise risk management systems
