About This RoleWe are seeking a talented Taxation Lawyer to join our team, focusing on complex tax and structuring matters. The ideal candidate will have between 5-10 years of experience in taxation law and a strong commercial acumen. Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on complex structuring and succession planning matters affecting high net wealth individuals and families;
- Trusts, including advising on complex tax issues relating to trusts and trust law;
- Mergers and acquisitions, including identifying and advising on tax issues in this space;
- Complex tax arrangements and advice, backed by drafting experience for commercial transactional documents;
- Private rulings and tax disputes.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a genuine client service focus. You will also have plenty of drive and enthusiasm, with an engaging and proactive team approach. We are looking for someone who is eager to contribute to the team, provide mentorship for less experienced colleagues, and develop their own career as a leading tax advisor.
