Chief Capital Works Manager

We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead the delivery of capital works projects from initiation to completion. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, effective financial management and timely project completion within budget.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and deliver multiple projects while applying knowledge of local government regulations on building and construction industry.
- Establish relationships with governing authorities and utility providers to facilitate project progression.
- Coordinate design, manage contractors, provide technical direction and ensure projects meet quality standards.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and project teams through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related field along with a valid driver's license and WHS construction induction certification.
- Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary projects including financial management, tendering and contract administration.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills for influencing and negotiating with stakeholders. Show proficiency in Office 365 and possess strong knowledge of construction legislation.
- Prior experience in civil, landscape, building and public domain works especially in local government settings is advantageous.
