Industrial Equipment Specialist

The role of an industrial equipment specialist is pivotal to maintaining a safe and efficient production environment. This includes performing regular maintenance checks on industrial laundry equipment, identifying potential issues before they become major problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks on industrial laundry equipment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential faults or areas for improvement.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot the issue and carry out repairs where possible.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety procedures, including those related to workplace safety and quality management systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in the MEX system.
  • Assist in spare parts management and collaborate with internal stakeholders on maintenance projects.
Essential Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualification or tertiary degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
