Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to drive digital asset and data integration strategy.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Digital Asset Management systems, Integration Platform as a Service, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Digital Asset Management
    • Design and implement a robust Digital Asset Management system that meets the organization's needs, including architecture, configuration, integrations, and rollout.
    • Develop technical standards for metadata schemas, taxonomies, file naming conventions, and rights management.
    • Manage environment setup (development, testing, production) and coordinate platform upgrades and patches.
  • Integration and Automation
    • Oversee integration of the DAM with core systems, including CMS, CRM, Workato (iPaaS), Microsoft 365, and collections management tools.
    • Design and maintain APIs, workflows, and automations to streamline asset ingestion, approval, and publishing.
    • Establish monitoring, error-handling, and logging frameworks for integrations.
  • Governance and Compliance
    • Develop governance models for asset lifecycle management (ingest, usage, archival, disposal).
    • Ensure compliance with copyright, licensing, and digital rights management requirements.
    • Define role-based access controls and security policies.
  • Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Act as technical authority and escalation point for DAM-related issues.
    • Mentor team members and external vendors, ensuring best practice in DAM design and operations.
    • Partner with curatorial, marketing, digital, and IT teams to align DAM features with business needs.
    • Facilitate workshops, training, and change management initiatives to support adoption.
  • Delivery and Project Oversight
    • Manage agile delivery processes (backlog, sprint planning, testing, release management).
    • Ensure DAM platform delivery aligns with project timelines, budgets, and strategic objectives.
    • Provide executive-level reporting on delivery status, risks, and KPIs (asset usage, adoption, uptime).
