Job Title: Chief Digital Strategist

Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary leader to head our digital strategy and architecture efforts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving organisational change and transformation, and contributing to a lean digital environment that satisfies strategic needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a rationalised architecture that offers a sector-leading digital experience.
  • Manage cyber, technology, financial, and business risk appropriately.
  • Ensure university operations and strategies are enabled by an efficiently curated, well-articulated, well-designed, secure, and robust technology landscape.
  • Build and lead a best-in-class architecture practice, driving organisational change and transformation.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience and success working in similar roles within large complex organisations.
  • Proven experience in lifting an organisation's architectural maturity.
  • Experience driving and contributing to organisational change and transformation.
  • Experience building strategic technology plans and roadmaps.
  • Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with business process and performance modelling, benchmarking, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to make enterprise architecture work in a fast-paced and increasingly digital environment.
  • Ability to think big and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refreshes and hype.
  • Strong leadership skills, with proven experience coaching and mentoring.
