Job Summary

Nursing Professional Role at Hospital Setting

We are seeking a skilled and experienced nursing professional to join our Pre-Op/Post-Op team.

Your expertise matters, and we prioritize your well-being so you can provide exceptional care to others.

Our surgical department is made up of 14 beds in Pre-op, 4 bays in PACU and 6 Operating Rooms, with dedicated surgeons, nurses and OR assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify needs
  • Develop and implement effective nursing interventions
  • Provide high-quality patient care suitable to condition and age
  • Document medical necessity in the patient record
  • Create Interdisciplinary Care Plans for each patient
  • Conduct regular Quality Improvement assessments
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or compact state
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification within 30 days
  • AHA ACLS and PALS within six months
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
