Lead Financial Reporting and Control

The Director Group Accounting and Reporting will oversee the global accounting and reporting function, ensuring robust financial controls, precise reporting, and continuous improvement across statutory, management, and corporate accounting processes.

About This Opportunity
  • Drive monthly group consolidation and management reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with global accounting standards (IFRS).
  • Oversee completion of statutory and Board reporting at half and full year, coordinating inputs across Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, and People & Culture.
  • Manage corporate transactional accounting including Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Sharebased payments and Intercompany.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to enhance reporting efficiency and control.
  • Oversight of global finance policies and the Global Chart of Accounts, ensuring governance and compliance.
  • Provide accounting guidance for material transactions, new investments, and acquisitions.
  • Foster a high-performing team, developing engagement, capability development, and cross-functional collaboration.

To succeed in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate:

  • A strong CPA or CA qualification with 10+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in listed company reporting and statutory accounts preparation.
  • Proven success in multinational group reporting and multicurrency consolidations.
  • Expertise in ERP system implementation and management.
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to drive transformational initiatives and process improvements.
