Job Title: ICT Infrastructure Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced ICT Infrastructure Coordinator to join our team at a Catholic school in Parramatta Diocese. This is a key role that will play a crucial part in supporting the operations of new learning and teaching opportunities across two schools.

  • Lead the efficient operation and integration of all ICT infrastructure, including wireless and wired networks, VOIP, MFD, CCTV, security systems, audio visual, technology hardware, servers etc.
  • Manage the technical aspects of all ICT systems, including Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems, ITSM tools, cyclical maintenance and other educational tools and platforms.
  • Liaise with the Technology and Information Services team on infrastructure and system matters.
  • Develop and manage all third-party contractual relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Provide necessary advice, support, and management to facilitate the effective and seamless integration of technology into teaching and learning.
  • Facilitate and develop a short and long-term ICT plan for the site, which is supportive of the current and future needs of users.
  • Working with relevant staff, provide high-quality professional development for ICT platforms, services, and emerging technologies.
  • Oversee the ICT elements and setup of onsite and offsite events.
Key Responsibilities:

The ICT Infrastructure Coordinator will be responsible for:

  1. Liaising with the Technology and Information Services team to ensure smooth operation of ICT systems.
  2. Managing third-party contractual relationships with vendors and service providers.
  3. Providing advice, support, and management to facilitate the effective integration of technology into teaching and learning.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area of study.
  • A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Appropriate demonstrated experience in infrastructure, network, and ICT projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and compliance, ability to work under pressure.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment, including a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
