Strategic Care Director

The role of Strategic Care Director is pivotal in driving organisational success through effective leadership and strategic direction.

This key leadership position requires the ability to oversee regional Not for Profit Residential Aged Care Organisations, providing oversight and guidance to achieve optimal outcomes.

Reporting directly to the Board, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that delivers exceptional care services to residents. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing visionary leadership to continually improve aged care outcomes through innovative thinking and strategies.
  • Exceptional understanding of the Aged Care Standards and staying abreast of changing regulatory requirements.
  • Leading the development of resident-focused, personal-centred care services with consent from residents.
  • Developing management strategies and systems to enable the organisation to meet all quality standards and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Protecting and maintaining assets including upgrades to infrastructure planning.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and providing leadership at a senior level in rural aged care environments.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant area such as Business, Finance, Health or similar.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of running high-performing businesses.
  • Ability to lead an effective team and empower staff to deliver exceptional client-focused care services.
