Therapeutic Specialist

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating and maintaining a therapeutic environment for children and young people placed with us.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Clinical Services: Provide clinical services to carers, children and young people.
  • Support and Training: Support, consult and train Social Workers, Carers and Support Workers.
  • Therapeutic Planning: Develop and implement therapeutic plans for children and young people with significant therapeutic needs.

**Requirements:**

  • A recognised qualification in counselling, systemic psychotherapy, family therapy, clinical Social Work or Clinical Psychology.
  • Significant experience and training in trauma-informed and positive behaviour planning approaches.
  • Clinical experience working with children and young people in care, foster carers and complex kinships.
