
Health Service Performance Leadership Opportunity

The Performance Manager leads a team responsible for coordinating performance meetings and cross-departmental assessments.
This role requires a strong leader who can lead health service engagement, achieve buy-in from multiple stakeholders, and strategically set the department's performance management calendar.
The role involves managing staff throughout the employment lifecycle, including performance, development, recruitment, and staff safety and wellbeing responsibilities.

About You:- You will implement the department's Performance Monitoring Framework
- Support and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative culture and ensuring delivery of strategic objectives
- Identify and manage emerging areas of risk to hospital and health service performance
- Build and maintain relationships across the department and with health services to drive performance improvement
- Coordinate departmental responses to major performance issues affecting hospitals and health services
Essential Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in health, accounting, commerce, economics, or public administration
Desirable Expertise
- Understanding and knowledge of the Victorian health system and relevant departmental systems
