Lead Commercial Counsel

The Lead Commercial Counsel role is responsible for managing the company's commercial legal affairs, including providing counsel to commercial teams and handling disputes.

This key position will work closely with various stakeholders to provide legal advice and representation while protecting the company's interests. The role is an integral part of the Asia Pacific Revenue and Marketing management teams, reporting directly to the Vice President and General Counsel, Global Revenue and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial team advice and support
  • Manage a team of lawyers
  • Partner with senior commercial management
  • Analyze regional commercial and corporate risk
  • Draft and negotiate major commercial contracts
  • Advise on innovative go-to-market strategies
  • Provide education and awareness to client groups

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of legal experience with proven leadership in a law firm or publicly-traded company
  • Fluent English language
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Skills Required:

Candidates must possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
