Job Summary

AFL Recruitment is seeking an experienced Paralegal/Law Clerk to join our client's exponentially growing plaintiff personal injury law firm. As a key member of the team, you will assist the senior personal injury team leader in managing personal injury cases, including Workers Compensation/Work injury damages and Public Liability claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients, other solicitors, insurers, and doctors to obtain necessary information and documents.
  • Conduct legal research and review clinical/medical notes to support case management.
  • Arrange appointments, draft legal documents, and file court documents as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the senior lawyer and team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law, with a focus on Workers Compensation/Work injury damages.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide administrative support to the senior lawyer and team.
