Job Title: Personal Injury Paralegal/Law Clerk - Workers Compensation Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Paralegal/Law Clerk to join our team at AFL Recruitment. As a key member of our Workers Compensation team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our lawyers and assisting with the management of files.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to lawyers, including preparing documents, conducting research, and managing files;
- Assist with the preparation of court documents and other legal materials;
- Conduct research and gather information to support lawyer's cases;
- Develop and maintain knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations;
- Collaborate with lawyers and other team members to achieve case goals;
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders;
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months experience in workers compensation as a paralegal/assistant/secretary;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Highly organized and able to meet deadlines;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
