About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Accountant to provide expert financial services and support for SMSF clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, annual returns, and compliance documents
- Support clients with SMSF transactions, ensuring all necessary information is compiled and up-to-date
- Identify potential accounting and compliance issues, taking proactive steps to ensure legislative compliance
- Monitor client interactions with the ATO, providing guidance and support as needed
- Draft clear and concise correspondence with clients, keeping them informed throughout the process
- Postgraduate qualifications such as CA or CPA, with 1-2 years of relevant experience in SMSFs
- Excellent relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive work approach
- Ability to manage competing priorities and client demands, working efficiently to meet deadlines
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to develop both technical and soft skills
