Technical Support Specialist

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert support to clients. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Liebherr mining trucks, ensuring smooth operations for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Expertise: Provide expert support, troubleshoot faults, and deliver solutions for reliability and performance issues.
  • Data & Analysis: Practice effective documentation, monitoring, and analysis, particularly focusing on equipment modifications, reliability, and availability.
  • Customer Relations: Build long-lasting relationships with clients, providing them with relevant training and insights on technical matters.
  • Knowledge Sharer: Mentor and coach on-site technicians, fostering a team environment of continuous learning.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven customer-facing experience in a field environment.
  • A tertiary qualification in electrical, mechanical, computing, communication systems, or relevant trade experience with exceptional skills.
  • A keen mind for critical thinking, data interpretation, and root cause analysis.
  • A passion for keeping up with new and emerging technologies.
  • The ability to take decisive action and deliver solutions swiftly.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical knowledge and clear client interaction.
