Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Team Lead - Equipment Maintenance to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing a team of employees and contractors, with a focus on delivering operational efficiency and effectiveness.

The successful candidate will be accountable for daily business group planning support, operational and efficiency metrics, and ensuring their team is engaged and optimized to support business objectives and customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of employees and contractors to deliver operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide daily business group planning support and ensure operational and efficiency metrics are met
  • Ensure the team is engaged and optimized to support business objectives and customer delivery
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve labor utilization, work in progress, and efficiency performance measures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A trade certificate with relevant leadership post-trade experience
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills (including MS Office Suite)
  • Good communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
  • The ability to influence key metrics such as labor utilization, work in progress, and efficiency performance measures
  • The ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
  • Highly developed organizational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and prioritize accordingly
  • Highly developed attention to detail
