About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Wellbeing Advisor to join our team in the Bathurst region. As a key member of our safety, health and wellbeing team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing health and wellbeing initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and wellbeing programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment
  • Conduct physical assessments and ergonomic assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards
  • Provide technical expertise in injury prevention and support management of work-related and non-work-related injuries
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement return to work programs
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and codes of practice
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health discipline (Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Sports Science)
  • Return to Work Certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, Workers Compensation and Codes of Practice
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and prioritizing tasks
