About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Tuckshop Convenor at St Margaret Mary's College. This is a Term Time, Permanent position, requiring 5 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily tuckshop operations, including food preparation, cleaning, stocktake, and catering.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene in food and service areas.
  • Develop and deliver exceptional customer service standards across all aspects of tuckshop operations.
  • Collaborate with students and the school community to gather feedback on food preferences.
  • Support special event days and other catered school functions as required.
Financial Management
  • Verify all supplies against invoices and ensure all invoices are signed and forwarded to accounts payable.
  • Perform stock-takes of all non-perishable food at the end of each term.
Requirements
  • Experience in ensuring the quality and nutritional value of tuckshop menus.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer satisfaction (students, staff, broader school community).
  • Experience in risk minimization, related to all WHS and other compliance requirements.
  • Ability to utilize sound financial outcomes, business systems, and controls.
Desirable Criteria
  • Relevant certificate and/or school-based experience.
