Plant Maintenance Specialist

The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Maintenance professional to contribute to the efficient operation of our Resource Recovery unit at the Northern Tasmania Materials Recovery Facility in Tasmania. This role offers a challenging opportunity to work with state-of-the-art recycling equipment and contribute to sustainable waste management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and continuous operation of the MRF in accordance with Veolia Asset Management System maintenance scheduling and company policies
- Perform scheduled plant inspections and adjustments to plant and equipment
- Preventative cleaning of equipment and fabrication repairs and improvements
- Scheduled and ad hoc replacement of parts and equipment, and maintaining spare parts inventory
- Liaise with internal and external suppliers to manage procurement in line with corporate governance
Requirements
- Experience in maintaining process plant and equipment or similar
- Valid Forklift Licence and Current Driver's Licence
