The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Maintenance professional to join our team at Veolia, where you will contribute to the efficient operation of our Resource Recovery unit in Northern Tasmania. This role offers a challenging opportunity to work with state-of-the-art recycling equipment and contribute to sustainable waste management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring safe and continuous operation of the MRF in accordance with Veolia's Asset Management System maintenance scheduling and company policies
  • Completing scheduled plant inspections and performing adjustments to plant and equipment
  • Preventative cleaning of equipment, fabrication repairs, and improvements
  • Scheduled and ad hoc replacement of parts and equipment, maintaining spare parts inventory
  • Liaising with internal and external suppliers to manage procurement in line with corporate governance

Requirements

  • Experience in maintaining process plant and equipment or similar
  • Valid Forklift Licence and Current Driver's Licence
