Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Seven Animal Health in Inner West Sydney. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Animal Handling and Restraint: Safely and humanely handle and restrain animals for examination, treatment, and surgery.
  • Surgery Management: Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures, including preparing patients, maintaining asepsis, and monitoring anesthesia.
  • General Anaesthesia Monitoring: Closely monitor patients under general anesthesia to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Treatment Assistance: Assist veterinarians with medical treatments, including administering medications and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Clinic Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, including general cleaning and disinfection.
  • Reception Duties: Provide excellent customer service, answer phone calls, and manage reception duties as needed.

Seven Animal Health is a well-established veterinary practice in Inner West Sydney, committed to providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services. We are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital x-ray, brand new ultrasound machine, IM3 Dental X-ray and dental machine, blood pressure monitoring, two anaesthetic machines, surgery, IV pumps, and IDEXX in-house machine (Procyte and Catalyst). We are fully computerized with Vetlink software and have a strong association with the Cat Protection Society and other welfare groups.
