About the Role:
We are seeking up to 8x Enrolled Nurses to join our team as Support Workers in the disability sector. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality daily care, assistance, and support to individuals in their own homes and in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and medication management.
- Work collaboratively with experienced Registered Nurses to ensure high-quality care and support.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive team environment.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience as an Enrolled Nurse, with a focus on medication management and support work.
- Relevant qualifications, diploma level or above.
- Experience in diabetes, epilepsy, wound care, continence, and mental health care.
- Current AHPRA registration and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Valid driving license and own car.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of occupational health and safety.
