Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent Pathology Courier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the transportation of pathology samples and specimens across various medical centers, collection centers, nursing homes, hospitals, and veterinarian surgeries.

About the Role
  • Pick-up and delivery of pathology samples, specimens, blood/blood products X-rays, vaccines, and clinical waste to and from referring customers.
  • Liaise between referring medical practitioners and our medical liaison officer regarding store orders.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and stock control in our main laboratory.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and integrity.
  • Follow operating procedures to complete correct specimen coding documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, work health and safety procedures, and quality assurance processes.
What You'll Need
  • You must have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with our clients and staff.
  • A valid driver's license is required, as well as a clean driving record.
  • You should be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry protocols and procedures is essential.
