The purpose of this position is to provide engineering expertise for overhead, underground distribution, and transmission substation design projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Manage the project team, ensuring clear objectives and efficient resource allocation.
  • Effectively manage bid risks, time constraints, and client expectations.
  • Consider commercial and financial implications to maximise profit margins.
  • Drive improvement initiatives across projects.
  • Provide mentoring to junior and senior staff in project engineering and management.

**Job Requirements**:

  • Detailed knowledge of project management concepts and principles.
  • Previous experience working on MV-HV substation projects.
  • Proven ability to manage EPC contracts.
  • Knowledge and experience in station and/or line design principles and procedures for distribution and transmission voltages.
  • Previous experience managing multiple diverse projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of bid and business development processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement.

**Compensation Package**: We offer a competitive salary of **£80,000 - £110,000 per annum**, depending on experience, plus regular bonuses and opportunities for career growth with a leader in the industry.
