As a Workplace Ambassador, you will play a vital role in assisting with operational activities on a client site, including accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, vendor oversight, purchasing of materials, equipment, and supplies, occupancy services, and helpdesk support.
This part-time role requires you to work on a client site on Collins St, Melbourne, VIC, from 7:30am to 11:30am on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. As a Workplace Ambassador, you will be responsible for providing superior customer service to meet on-site client expectations, managing contractors to ensure they perform to required standards, and assisting with financial processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to meet on-site client expectations.
- Manage contractors to ensure they perform to required standards.
- Assist with financial processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure safety procedures on site are in place and working.
- Seek ways to constantly reduce costs and improve operational standards.
- Maintain premises in neat and good working condition at all times.
- Assist with receptionist coverage from time to time.
- Coordinate with pantry staff to ensure that pantry and vending machine items are always in stock.
- Follow established escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures.
Requirements:
- At least 2 to 3 years of prior experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Understanding of basic technical aspects of property is advantageous.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize and manage the completion of projects in an efficient and timely manner.
