International Clearance Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled International Clearance Specialist to support our customs clearance operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of international shipments through customs and regulatory processes.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing end-to-end customs clearance processes for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations
  • Reviewing customs documentation, classifying goods according to customs regulations, and determining duty rates and tax liabilities
  • Resolving customs-related issues and providing exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and proactively resolving any clearance issues
  • Collaborating closely with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and internal teams for efficient and timely clearance

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and trade compliance
  • Proficiency in customs clearance software and online customs portals
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PC skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Proven expertise in planning and organizing, with a strong accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of work experience in Customs
  • For Associate level, no prior experience is required
  • For Lead level, at least five (5) years of work experience in Customs, of which at least two (2) years is required
