This position is for a skilled medical professional to provide high-quality care as a Rehabilitation Medicine Career Medical Officer.
The role is focused on delivering effective and person-centred care in a dynamic environment.
As a Rehabilitation Medicine Career Medical Officer, you will work overnight to provide continuity of care for patients under the supervision of their respective units.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver timely and comprehensive ward-based medical care, including diagnosis, management, and clerkship.
- Identify and respond to acutely deteriorating patients in a subacute setting, initiating management and planning ongoing care as part of the Hospital Emergency Response Officer team.
- Contribute to the operation of the organisation through other duties appropriate to this level of classification.
- An Australian MBBS medical degree or equivalent with unconditional general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- At least three years of postgraduate experience.
