About the Role
The hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine to join their team. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients presenting to the emergency department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency department
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in education and training programs to maintain and improve skills
Requirements
- Registration with AHPRA as a specialist doctor
- Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 8 years' experience as a specialist doctor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and after-hours
