Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team, who will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced predictive models and algorithms. The successful candidate will analyze complex data sets to extract actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and implementation of advanced predictive models and algorithms.
  2. Analyze complex data sets to extract actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions.
  3. Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams, including marketing, editorial, and product development, to leverage data insights in decision-making processes.
  4. Lead data-driven projects from conception to execution.
  5. Oversee the development and optimization of data pipelines.
  6. Drive innovation by exploring new data sources, tools, and techniques to enhance analytical capabilities.
  7. Mentor and coach junior data scientists.
  8. Share expertise and insights with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, and SQL, with a strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Looker, with the ability to create compelling visual narratives.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
