We're on the cusp of a revolution in data-driven decision making, and we're looking for a talented Senior Data Scientist to join our team at TPG Telecom. As a key member of our Data and Analytics Centre of Excellence, you'll play a pivotal role in building and enhancing advanced analytics solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

About the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models and statistical techniques to solve complex business problems. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and requirements, and use data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve advanced data models using machine learning and statistical techniques
  • Conduct deep data analysis and interpretation to understand trends, patterns, and relationships in the data
  • Collaborate with other data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to share knowledge and best practices
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and requirements
  • Document and present findings in a clear and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in developing and implementing machine learning models and statistical techniques
  • Proficiency in programming languages, primarily Python or R, and experience in data manipulation using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and data visualization tools
  • Experience working with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and knowledge of SQL for extracting and manipulating large datasets
  • Cloud computing experience, including working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Domain knowledge and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to understand domain-specific data and business processes
