We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our newly established Data and Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE) at TPG Telecom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and enhancing advanced analytics solutions that support various product lines and functions within the company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing machine learning and statistical models to solve complex business problems and generate insights.
  • Conducting deep data analysis using various data sources and interpreting results to understand trends, patterns, and relationships in the data.
  • Collaborating with other data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to share knowledge and best practices within the CoE.
  • Working closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and requirements and translating these into analytical questions and using data to provide solutions.
  • Documenting methodologies, code, and results of data analysis and modelling and presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements include:

  • Hands-on experience in developing and implementing various machine learning models and statistical techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, primarily Python or R, and experience in data manipulation using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience working with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and knowledge of SQL for extracting and manipulating large datasets.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure or GCP, and familiarity with cloud-based data science tools and services.
  • Domain knowledge and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to understand domain-specific data and business processes.
